Tour Eiffel

Today started with a visit to the Eiffel tower or as they say here in France the Tour Eiffel. We climbed to the second level by stair and enjoyed the view but it was a bit windy up there. Then back to the bottom for a picnic in the park. Oh and we said hi to lady liberty on our way :)

Dinner at the Mall!

After we checked out the mall we decided to stay and eat. So just for heather I took a photo of dinner see below - ok ok its Ashlee's dinner Shon and I ate at the Parisian Cafe. Then back on the Metro to get to our hotel BTW we now have the metro down pat! Need advise come to us!

The Louvre

Today was another rainy one so we spent the day at the Louvre and it's underground mall;) I love the Louvre it has my favorite statue and I can't decide if I like the palace itself better or the art in it!! Here is the quote of the day from Ash in the Louvre gift shop "look mom (pointing at a small stature of Victory) now you can finally take a picture of it"

No McDonalds today

We did see 2 Starbucks and a McDonald's but we didn't stop at any of them (Tracy would have made fun of me). Instead we went to a little local cafe on a side street within a 1/4 mile of the hotel for dinner/lunch (what time is it again?). We also found a mall ;) so by the time we were done goofing off our room was ready. Now we just need them to turn down the beds so we can get in them!!! You see as of this second we don't have sheets and I really hope this isn't some French tradition I didn't know about- I like sheets! Oh and we did walk up a few streets to get a quick view of the Eiffel tower- if you were wondering it is still here. Maybe tomorrow we will get a little closer -we're just a bit tired today. Anyway here is a pic inside our little cafe and Ashlee who just loves to have her picture taken. ;)
